I've been looking at getting a Super Pole with the horizontal pivoting and locking bar that mounts to the Pole. We've tried it at the OT sessions and my hubby can pull himself up to stand. We have slanted high ceilings in the bedroom so the cost will be about $400 with the extension. I'm wondering if anyone has one and will it be worth the cost. I will still have to lift his legs but it would save my back helping him to stand.

After my husband had surgery the occupational therapist recommended a Super pole for the bathroom.
We have a shower with a bar at the back and a built in seat.
The super pole helps him get in and out of the shower and when he sits down on the seat. It helps so he doesn't slip or slide.
I would definitely recommend one. Ours cost over $200 but our ceiling is normal so didn't need a different attachment.
