Hi Everyone
Wondering if anyone has had experience of severe abdominal pain. My husband is in hospital with pneumonia and he in in severe abdominal pain, they have done a cat scan, X-ray, blood work but cannot identify the reason why he is in so much pain. It’s very distressing to watch. They are using hydro morph for pain but it’s really not working that well. Any input would be very welcome as I’m feeling despair right now!

Dear Checkmate,

They have probably ruled this out but could it be constipation? What about gas? Gas can be excruciating and I don't think it shows up on a scan.

Could it be muscle cramping or dystonia of an abdominal muscle?

I'm so sorry you are both going through this, it's so difficult. Hugs, lfac
