Thank you Jim for this site. I have read the posts on this site for years.

My wife was diagnosed with PD in 2000,her DBS was in 2005.
I retired in 2010 & was her sole caregiver till she went in the ICU 6 days before passing in 2021.

I also want to thank those that posted their PD story over those years. It meant a lot just knowing that I had a little in common with someone else. Ben1

So glad you reached out to share in this forum again. Your words are few but the story they convey is one of much love with years of care and attention. You have made me feel a bit stronger and a bit more brave to handle what is sure to come just by knowing you are out there and that you made your way through. Thank you and I am glad to meet you.

My Dr. has booked me a few sessions to bring up those memories and try to make sense of that time in my life. The couple I have had seems like it will help.
