Just checking in. Everything is fairly well with mom. We're using the AI DBS program for the daytime, and the best doctor program at night (but turned down a bit). We tried the AI program for 3 days a few months ago. She was great the first day, mediocre the second day, and froze up completely by 5:30pm the third day. The doctor suggested switching between programs periodically as that is the only way some of the programs work for people, so I've been doing the AI during the day and the doctor program at night. We had an appointment in July but I canceled it since it was at 8 in the morning, and 3 hours away. I don't think I can make that work anymore--it's too hard on mom and me both, she doesn't present normally at the appointment anyway because her med schedule (and sleeping schedule) is all messed up, and besides I was pushing exhaustion from the last couple years. We have an appointment for October 16th and I will probably keep that one. Anyway, hope everyone is doing as well as can be.

We are doing ok. Hubby has a toothache and infection. He has a round of antibiotics and then they will get the tooth pulled. He has been very out of sorts for the past few days. It's all up and down right now, but manageable. I hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying the beautiful fall weather. (Although I am NOT looking forward to winter.)
